Sustainability

Sustainability is described as the coexistence and interaction among the three pillars: environment, society and economy.

Our Certifications

Our company has dedicated itself to sustainability goals and consistently pursues them in our corporate activities. The development of all pillars creates a healthful, livable environment for future generations.

A.I.S.E Charter
Consumers can recognise this seal at a glance: This product has been developed and manufactured with sustainability in mind. Particular attention is paid to consumer-friendly and safe use. Sustainable behaviour is based on a balance of ecological, economic and social aspects such as consumer safety, environmental protection, innovation and many others. Member companies of the “A.I.S.E. Charter for Sustainable Washing and Cleaning” are independently audited to ensure that they take sustainability criteria into account throughout the entire life cycle of their products.

ISO 9001
ISO 9001 is a globally recognized norm that specifies the requirements for a quality management system. Fulfilling this norm means, among other things, ensuring consistent product quality.

IFS HPC and IFS Broker
The aim of IFS HPC and IFS Broker certification is to ensure the safety and quality of products on the basis of a standardised evaluation system as well as to close the gap between production and distribution. This creates comparability and transparency within the entire supply chain. The standard checks how retailers select their suppliers and whether they act in accordance with product safety and quality requirements. This ensures that the goods supplied fulfil legal requirements and customer-specific requirements. Our production facilities are IFS HPC certified and our distribution company is IFS Broker certified.

EU Ecolabel
The European Ecolabel (the Environmental Flower) is the driving force behind particularly environmentally friendly formulations in cleaning products. The Ecolabel was created in the mid-1990s as a European eco-label. It frames all national ecolabels and sets high requirements for environmentally friendly products. Many of our cleaners for the whole of Europe now have an Ecolabel-certified formulation. Introduced in 1992, the voluntary label has developed over time into a reference for consumers who want to protect the environment when purchasing products.

RSPO certification
With the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification, customers can recognise that sustainable palm oil is used in the products we manufacture. By complying with the requirements of this certification, we consistently contribute to minimising the negative effects of palm oil cultivation in the regions of origin. We can therefore guarantee that all standards, from the palm oil plantation to further processing and storage, fulfil the criteria of RSPO certification.

EMAS
EMAS (Eco Management and Audit Scheme) is a certification for companies that want to have their corporate performance assessed or improved. This certification includes all elements of ISO 14001 (environmental management system standard) and other criteria.
The aim of EMAS is to continuously improve the environmental performance of the organisation. EMAS-certified organisations contribute to environmental protection, save costs and demonstrate their sense of responsibility.

Blauer Engel (Blue Angel)
The label “Blauer Engel” is the German government’s environmental label to protect people and the environment. Certification according to the “Blauer Engel” ensures that high standards are set for environmental, health and usage properties. Consumers can be sure that they are protecting the environment when buying such products. Customer loyalty can be intensified in this way. The assessment criteria are reviewed every three to four years by the Federal Environment Agency and thus encourage continuous improvement. Furthermore, the criteria are stricter than those of the EU Eco label.
